AW: How to use the LDR file to boot my system ?

Started by Andor Bariska January 20, 2000
Hi Jackie,

we use host booted SHARC systems for our products. What we do is forget
about loader
programs (these are for systems with no host in my opinion), but use the
host to
download the DSP code from a FLASH memory to the SHARC via DMA, and then
use the
external port interrupt to start the DSP.

This works well for us.

Regards,
Andor
