Hi, I am in a project inlvolving 2 dsp boards by manufacturers ( bittware's Hammerhead pmc+ which has adsp 21160 and Transtech's ASP- P15 which has quad adsp 21060) The project involves connecting the link ports on both the dsp boards. I would like to know if anyone has any idea on the interface cable which would match them or any company which would make the interface cable. chakri |

Interface between adsp 21060 and adsp 21160
The 2 link port formats are different. I don't think you can hook them up together (the 21060 has a 4 bit wide link port whereas, the 21161 has an 8 bit wide link port). I don't remember reading anywhere that the 21161 can handle this mis- match. --- In adsp@y..., "chakri1677" <chakri1677@y...> wrote: > Hi, > I am in a project inlvolving 2 dsp boards by manufacturers ( > bittware's Hammerhead pmc+ which has adsp 21160 and Transtech's ASP- > P15 which has quad adsp 21060) > The project involves connecting the link ports on both the dsp > boards. The document does have the interface but there is no document which has any information of harware which can/could be used for connecting the both boards. I would like to know If there were any manufacturers who make cables or interfaces which can be customised to suit the clients needs? chakradhar --- In adsp@y..., Sigurd.Myklebust@k... wrote: > Ref ADP-21160 SHARC DSP Hardware Reference. The link ports may be interfaced, provided that level translation is used (5V 06x's vs 3V3 for the 16x's) and the 16x's are used in nibble wide mode.
