two channel mono input with the adsp 21065l ez-kit lite

Hi,

I need two mono inputs for my code using the 21065L. This is my set-
up: I have a mixer connected to two microphones one panned to the
left the other panned to the right. The left and right output of the
mixer is connected to that thingie that allows them to be connected
to one slot. The left and right mixer output with this thingie I
connect to the line input of the 21065l board.

So I ran my code that takes input from a single channel (either left
or right) and test the two mics. I found out that only one of the
microphones got their input thru the board (either left or right). No
matter what channel I take my input from only this microphone is
heard and not the other one.

In short the board only hears one channel from the mixer and places
this it in its Left_Channel_In and Right_Channel_In and doesn't hear
the other one at all. How can this be when the board supposedly takes
in two distinct inputs?

Thanks for the time,

Ishmael
