I met the Metrowerks developer in the ADI booth at the last Embedded Systems show in San Francisco, and got an early preview, since I have a Red Hat box to tinker with it on. I was able to rebuild the tool chain (binutils and gcc) and have run through the kernel-building process. I haven't been successful at getting the canned kernel to fire up on an ezkit, but it may be due to it being too different from the Eagle board used for development, and it might be necessary to change some of the build-time configuration. |

Are you working on "porting" it to the BF-535-EZLITE?? Hi, the Metrowerks uCLinux port to BF-535 should work fine on the BF-535- EZKIT. Except you are using a Blackfin silicon hardware revision 0.1 or 0.2 due to a hardware bug(SIC_IMASK). In this case use the PUB Board option, it seems that this option deals with the SIC_IMASK problem. The SDRAM configuration registers should be initialized to following values: SDGCTL 91998D (changes to 11998d) SDBCTL 1 SDRRC 74A greetings, michael --- In , Jaime Andres Aranguren Cardona <jaime_aranguren@y...> wrote: > Are you working on "porting" it to the BF-535-EZLITE?? > > JaaC > > --- Kenneth Porter <kenneth_porter@k...> > wrote: > > --On Thursday, August 28, 2003 12:16 PM -0700 Jaime > > Andres Aranguren Cardona > > <jaime_aranguren@y...> wrote: > > > > > Kenneth, may I ask how do you get informed of this > > > kind of stuff?
