Hello, The problem we have put in the groups earlier in accessing the 7 ADSP 2191 Processors, is solved and now we are able to access, all the DSPs using Apex-ICE. In our system, We have interfaced 6 ADSP 2191s with one ADSP 2191 which is named as Master. The 6 slaves are connected on their hostports on the external memory space - 3 of the Master processor. The 6 slave processors are configured in Host - boot mode, to enable the Master DSP to boot and access all the Slave DSPs. The decoding logic to access the slave Processors is implemented in a CPLD. In the host port Direct Access mode, the Master DSP is able to write into the IO space of all the Processors. Also it can read back from the processors on their Host port. The Host port buswidth is set to 16-bit and is perfectly working with the IO Space. But when the Master DSP is trying to access the memory space, by asserting the HCMS, the slave processor is not giving any acknowledgement for the transaction. The logics and timing for the IO space access and Memory space access are very same. We couldnot read or write anything into the data memory space through Host port. Expecting a solution from you, as soon as possible. Thanks & Regards, Unmai. |
