Hello-

Analog Devices will be holding a technical webcast on our Blackfin Processor
on Tuesday December 9th that we thought the members of this group would be
interested in. I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to post this type of
announcement to the group. If it's ok to post and you would like to post it,
feel free to use the text included below. If you would like me to post the
announcement to the group directly, let me know.

Thanks very much.

On Tuesday, December 9th, Analog Devices will broadcast an
informative technical overview of the Blackfin Processor
architecture. The Blackfin Processor family blends the best
attributes of digital signal processing with a RISC-based
micro-architecture, enabling more efficient system control
and media processing.

Join David Katz and Wayne Meyer of ADI's Media Products and
Services Group for a technical presentation on the newest
generation of pin-compatible Blackfin Processors, operating
at speeds up to 600 MHz. These processors are poised to spark
a fresh round of innovations as they offer breakthrough
performance in a 12mm x 12mm package, but at half the power
consumption and at a lower price than competitive options.

The presentation will focus on key aspects of the Blackfin
core architecture:

- DSP Features
- Microcontroller Capabilities
- Dynamic Power Management
- Operating Modes

In addition, the following system-level topics will be
addressed:

- Event Handling
- Memory Model
- DMA Capabilities
- Peripheral Set
- Development Tools and Support

The presentation will be followed by a live one-hour question
and answer session. Find out how you can deliver
"Embedded Processing Like Never Before." -----------------------
