Hello, My name is Nikolay Berbatov. I am working now with Bittware Nammerhead PCI board with four ADSP-21160. Can anybody tell me, where can I find a simple source that allow to transmite und receive from one ADSP-21160 to other ADSP-21160 on the same board using link ports. Thank you very much in advance. Hello, My name is Nikolay Berbatov and I work as hardware developer at DKS GmbH. Can anybody tell me, where can I find a small example program how can I transfer a instruction code and data (for example for complex FFT Radix 2) using SIMD form a master ADSP-21160 to a slave (second) ADSP-21160 using the link ports and link buffers of the 21160 processor? Thank you very much in advance! Nikolay, try http://www.analog.com/techsupt/application_notes/application_notes.htm l. There are lots of papers on link port communication there (the 21160 isn't much different from the other SHARCs regarding the software side of link port communication). Regards, Andor |

SIMD is a mode which the processor is placed in which defines the way the
DSP accesses memory on the parallel buses, as well as invoking the second processing element in the DSP core. It has nothing to do with link port transfers, which are pretty much the same as those in previous ADSP-2106x DSPs, except they can transfer bytes at a time, rather than nibbles. wrote: > --- In adsp@y..., nikinet@s... wrote: > > Hello, > > > > My name is Nikolay Berbatov and I work as hardware developer at DKS > GmbH.
