Cyclic prefix and Guard period

Hi all members! Thanks for previous questions! Please help me again!

In OFDM system, cyclic prefix and guard period issues are used to prevent ISI and ICI, if i am right. So, could somebody explains me What is the exact differences between them? (if it is possible deeply please)
