I am working on Multichannel wiener filter and spatial prediction in application to binaural hearing aids. I have both the filter coefficients which will supress the noise or interfering source at any angle ( 20 deg to 340 deg, target source is assumed at 0 deg and in the range of 20 deg on both sides of target source there is no interfer). My problem is to evaluate both the algorithms by determining the angle at which the filter will place a spatial null(means power from that direction should be very low). There are 4 microphones, 2 on each side. The data I have is the filter coefficients for interfering sources at any anle(there can be more than 1 interfering source), room impulse responses for every 5 deg through 0 to 360. How can I implement a code in Matlab to detemine the spatial null placed by the filter from these data ?
