??,?: ??,?: a MPEG2 question

Started by ZiP HE November 30, 2000
Hi, rsv,
Thank you for your information, I have got the equation from MATLAB11. I still
have some problems in my MPEG DSP solution, which is the subband filter
cooefficient C(i), can you or anyone else tell me any equation to get those
factors? A look-up table seems not only huge but hard to keep the precision.

regards!
ZiP

 Hi ,

You can find the Hanning window equation in any DSP related books like

Digital Signal Processing by Proakis and Manalokis or
Discrete signal processing by Oppenhiem and schafer

or Design of Digital filters by Antoniou etc..

ISO11172-3 encoding algorithms(Layer II and Layer III), before FFT transfer,
there are 1152 samples collected, but only 1024 points FFT are employed, what
shall we do with the remaining 128 samples, just ingnored or shall overlapped by
Module Reduction N?
