BIOS version / RTA version compatibility

Started by Joseph Boike August 25, 2008
When I try to flash my F28335 I get the following error:
"Your BIOS Version is not compatible with this RTA Version. It must
be version 5.2.x.x. Your version looks to be : a non BIOS
program , or possibly BIOS 490 or earlier"
What does this mean and how do I fix it?
Regards,
Joe
BIOS is 5_32_04
Real Time Analysis 4.90.00.1
This is what I think the message is referring to,
but where do I find an update?
I don't see RTA when I click 'Check for updates'
Joe

what version of BIOS you are using? you can check it by going to CCS>> Help>>About. If you are using the older version of the BIOS you can upgrade by going to Update Advisor in your CCS.
