SERious problem.. anyone pl help!!

hi everybody,
i ve been using f2812 dsp kit for the past two months.i had generated pwm pulses by writing a code in ccs. now all of a sudden the computer says that the kit is not connected to the pc. moreover when i power up the kit,only ds1 glows(ds2 was blinking,but now it doesnt even glow). The processor also heats up instantaneously when powered up. Is the kit damaged???. Has anyone else too had similar problems?? is so please lemme know at the earliest!!!

Hey i also had a similar probelm..........looks like u have burnt the
DSP..............get a new TMS320F2812 chip from TI (can get free samples
also ) desolder the old chip and solder the new
one.......................and your board will work..............i repaired
almost 3 boards like this

usually the board is not damaged in such cases
if chip is heating up then chip is gone
change the chip
hope u have a board with socket
that will make it easier to change the chip
even otherwise, u will have to desolder and solder new chip
