Dear Ali,
Hi
The Hex file is the output file of Hex500.exe file the it create it from
out file of project. For program it to flash memory you must convert it to a bin
file and program your flash with any flash burner that can program your flash.
You can also download your flash memory driver for example in C and run it on
your DSP, to read bin file from PC and transfer it to flash memory, for more
description on Hex file format and how to create them, plz check SPRU121.pdf
(TMS320C54x Assembly Language Tools User's Guide), Chapter 10, Hex
Conversion Utility Description. You can find there how to create Hex file and
what exactly the Hex files contains means.

Dear Narcis Palomeras When you install Code Composer Studio, it automatically install in the following folder: C:\ti\c5400\cgtools\bin But if you don't have CSStudio, I attach hex500.exe file for 5416 series with this email, you can use it.
