Looking at the specifications, (especially section 2.5 Memory Map) it says that turning on the DROM bit will map DARAM pages 4-7 to 0x8000 to 0xffff in data memory. Table 2-2 Processor Mode Status Register says: DROM = 0 : the on-chip ROM is not mapped into data space. DROM = 1 : A portion of the on-chip ROM is not mapped into data space. Whats the difference?
