There is more than one interface for '16x2 LC Display'. Could you identify
the specs for your interface??

Do you remeber my previous question??

It is a bit difficult to identify pins if one does not know how many that
you need [and for what].
Please post your request to the group [not directly to me] - you probably
cannot afford my personal services.

You will need to furnish +15v externally.

You should use the external memory interface [J4] and not the HPI, if
possible. This will allow you to directly read and write from/to the device
in C. If you must use the HPI port, it only has 10 GPIO pins. You can tie
the enable to be true at all times, allowing you to interface with 10
signals. You can choose to connect them in any way that you like. To make
the sw easier, connect GPIO15 to data 7, GPIO14 to data 6, etc. The
remaining 2 will not matter how you connect them. You will then have to
create the write strobe with your sw.
