Hi Calvin, I would like to have some help from your side. I am using USB JTAG for debugging the board having TI6415 processors. But the JTAG is from company called Signum. When i start the CCS 2.2 i am getting the following error. "Error Code : 0x80000240/-180, This was generated by TI's USCIF Driver.. SC_ERR_CTL_NO_TRG_POWER" Even though power is connected to board. Anyone has encountered this problem and found solution for this. please mail me. Thanks and regards, Manjunath -----Original Message----- From: twfoo8x8 [mailto:] Sent: Wednesday, January 14, 2004 6:22 AM To: Subject: Re: TI DM642 Hi all, Found the solution to this problem. You must install the SDConfig program found on the TI DM642 installation disk. After that, everything is ok. After installation, you should get a SDConfig 6000 icon on your desktop. Installing the SDConfig program from the USB JTAG installation disk is not enough. After installing this program, you'll get a SDConfig x.xx icon on your desktop. Manjunath,
A couple of the most common causes of this error are:
1. Incorrect emulation driver selected in cc_setup
2. Incorrect configuration of the driver in cc_setup
Make sure that you use the correct driver for the Signum emulator.
There should be either a special driver that you select in cc_setup OR you
should use the TI C64xx Rev 1.1 XDS510 Emulation driver with a special
configuration file.
Check Signum's instructions or their web site
