My pb is now solved. There are some (strange) times, where you should not use the latest releases... Here is one example. I tried to connect CCS to a C6711 dsp board in a third party product (Toro board/Innovative Integration). The emulator I used with is the xds510pp-plus. The lastest releases of the 510pp-plus jtag drivers seem not to be in a running state. Please find below some information about: The pb I had is that I wasn't able to connect the board after CCS launch. The message was: Error connecting to the target: Error 0x80000200/-180 Fatal Error during: OCS, This error was generated by TI's USCIF driver. SC_ERR_CTL_NO_TRG_POWER <-180> The controller has detected a target power loss. The user may have failed to turn-on or connect its source. Sequence ID: 0 Error Code: -180 Error Class: 0x80000200 I/O Port = 240 Board Name: C671x XDS510 Emulator Cpu Name: CPU_1 Abort: Close Code Composer Studio. Retry: Try to connect to the target again. Cancel: Remain disconnected from the target Diagnostic: Run diagnostic utility. As I expected, this was a driver pb! Instead of using the last release of Spectrum Digital emulator drivers, I used the drivers dedicated for the 2.2 version, and which are compatible with the 3.0 version: http://www.spectrumdigital.com/drivers/docstore/CodeComposerDrivers/C6000/Emulator/CodeComposerStudio-2.x/Release-2.21.00/ And everything goes OK. (at connect, I mean ;) ) (last remark: these drivers also have the connect/disconnect feature).
