Clock Generation and the DM642

Started by Unknown March 23, 2005

Hello, I have recently acquired a DM642 board from spectrum digital. I am currently trying to interface it with an KAC9637 CMOS active pixel sensor from Kodak. The sensor needs about at 27MHZ clock to run at top speed. I tried generating this clock via the TImer and the TImer output pins but was only able to generate a 22MHZ clock. I remember seeing a C6711 clock implementation using the McBSP. I have been looking into this but I can't seem to locate which pins on the daughtercard connector the McBSP's are connected to. There could possibly be other clock sources but I'm not sure where to start looking. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Alex

Hello Alex,

You can goto www.ti.com and enter 'daughtercard' to locate the
