FPGA use on DM642

Started by mayank agarwal April 26, 2005

Hi all,
I have one doubt if FPGA which is used as an
interface between the video encoder and DM642 video
port has any supports only On Screen Display function
or it also supports deinterlacing and other video
processing functions

Hi,

I suppose you refer to the EVM642 board. have you checked spru295.pdf? This
gives quite detailled infos on the features of the fpga. From my point of
view, its just there in the videoOut lines for the onscreen display. The
deinterlacing stuff is done from my point of view in the DM642 videoPort
(details for the configuration - see spru629.pdf)

bye,

Thomas
