Corrupted Flash

I have Flash interfaced to 6711 DSP, which is configured for ROM boot. One
of the board wich was used for some hardware testing along with some other
board, got its flash currupted ( I hope so). Later on, I was not able to open
CCS in emulation mode. With Windows XP, its trying to send Error report. JTAG
through SDConfig showing alright. What could be the problem and how to come out
of it.
  If the flash is corrupted what is the expected behaviour when trying to
connect JTAG.
