transfer file!

Hi all,
Now, I'm using TI C6713 board and Code Composer Studio version 3.1. I have
problem that:
    After I load a program into C6713 board, how can this program read a file in
a certain folder in the PC host?And after processing , how can this result be
transfered and saved in a file in the PC host?
If I have to need a file .dll, what's name of it?
