Hello, I am using the TMS320C6211 DSP starter kit which has an on board codec (the tlc320ad535). The codec's max sampling rate is 11.025khz, but i would like to configure it for 8khz. How do i do this? I know that i must set MCLK to 4.096Mhz to satisfy the equation fs = MCLK/512 specified in the tlc320ad535 datasheet. But how do i change MCLK? What is MCLK connected to? Dear Pwoloszyn, the default DSK sampling rate configuration is 8 KHz only. just check it out. The sampling rate in this starter kit cant be changed by the software, it is hardwired on the starter kit board. U cud refer to the manual of TLS320AD535. bye Purushottam. Peter- If you look at the DSK C6211 schematics that come with the board, you will see that the codec is already sampling at 8 kHz. It's a fixed rate board, and the sampling rate is not software-programmable.
