Problems estimating frequencies from the Root-MUSIC algorithm. Starting from the noise & signal subspaces, I form the polynomies from the noise subspace. Then I choose the x roots closest to the unit circle (roots whose absolute values are the closest to the unit circle) (being x the number of signal eigenvectors) Having the complexes roots I can calculate the DoA (direction of arrival) My question is: are there any way to estimate the distance the signal travelled from the emitter? Thanks for your cooperation, Ral

Root MUSIC itself can not estimate the distance between a source and the array since it assumes plane waves.
