Advise me for learning MUD techniques

Hello,

I am trying to learn Multiuser detection techniques for CDMA and then
OFDMA and maybe even beyond that for SCFDMA and so on. I'm a beginner,
so I know that I should build up some concepts before attempting to go
to the real thing. So any advise?

Also are there some good video lectures on these topics, that you know
about?

I find it difficult to properly understand Verdu's book, so some other
resource you may want me to refer
