Ethernet Controller solution for ADSP-TS201

Started by jjli...@hotmail.com April 23, 2009
Hello, I intend to use the ADSP-TS201 DSP and would like to include
ethernet on my board. I thought it might be possible to use the SDRAM
Inteface on the DSP to connect to an ethernet controller. Can anyone
recommend an ethernet controller?

Thanks,
joe

I made stupid error thinking that the ethernet controller could connect directly to the SDRAM interface, sorry about that. I am still looking for an easy to configure and use ethernet controller. I was looking at the Ethernet Controller from Wiznet, the W5300 (http:// www.saelig.com/pr/w5300.htm). If anyone could recommend an easy to configure and use Ethernet Controller with built-in MAC and PHY 10/100Base-T please let me know. Also, I'll probably just interface with the ethernet controller via an FPGA rather than direct connect to the DSP. Thanks, joe
