Problem installing Code Composer Studio V3.3

Hi everyone.

I'm having problems installing the CCS 3.3 on XP SP3. When the setup bar
hits the end the PC freezes. When I reset and try to run the program an
error appears: "DLL: an attempt to load a program with an incorrect format
was made"] (or something like that, translated to english). 

I have tried two installers: one I downloaded from the Texas website and
another from the Code Composer Studio v3.3 Free Evaluation Tools CD I
ordered. All the installation files were md5sum-checked. I have installed
using network login with administrative rights and with the local
administrator login as well.
