The prime thing is work out the problems associated with these chapters. That alone can fetch you a good understanding of the underlying concepts. Regards Satish Prabu.

You can use the book Wireless Fundaments (yeah I think thats the name) by Pramod Viswanath & David Tse given by the link. It is easy to understand for a beginner. You may also want to refer Wireless communication by Theodore Rapaport There are so many other resources available online, just google "wireless communication"

As Ogden Nash wrote I test my bath before I sit, And I'm always moved to wonderment That what chills the finger not a bit Is so frigid upon the fundament. Please, folks, let's not mix up two different and very useful words.

www.google.com/search?q=%22Wireless+Fundaments%22 yields this thread after asking "Did you mean: ..." www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Wireless+Fundaments seems to mash results for "Fundaments" with "Fundamentals". But, clicking on "Did you mean: ..." yields 2,710,000 hits vs 4,300,000. www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%2BWireless+%2BFundament gives 5,690 hits after the usual "Did you mean: ..." www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&num=100&q=Wireless+%2BFundaments+site%3Aedu gives hits from Columbia, MIT, UCLA, UC Berkeley ... So now you know ;/

Hey Dillip, that's a great quote. It refers to the "contrast effect" of psychology. There is a great experiment where one has three buckets of water (hot, tepid, and cold). You put one hand in the hot water (hot but not scalding) and the other in the cold water for a couple of minutes. Then place both hands in the tepid water and the "hot hand" will feel cold and vice versea. Clay
