Hi,
I have figured out a way that will enable Rune Allnor to
attend our COMP.DSP Conference in Kansas City next month.
Rune all you have to do is complete the following steps:
[1] Hijack the ship on which you are working.
[2] Cross the Atlantic Ocean and enter the St. Lawrence
Seaway.
[3] Travel across Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, Lake Huron,
and go to the southern tip of Lake Michigan.
[4] Abandon ship in Chicago Illinois.
[5] Take a taxi cab to Kansas City, Kansas. That taxi ride
should cost less than 3000 dollars U.S.
Rune, if you do all of this, I'm willing to share my hotel
room with you in order to reduce your travel expenses.

Do [1], but then take a left at Newfoundland, then a right at the Tropic of Cancer (you can't miss it -- there's a big white line in the ocean going east-west). Take another right when you're in the center of the Gulf of Mexico. Go right past Nawleans, up the Mississippi to St Louis. _Then_ get a cab to Kansas city. You must be kiddin...? Seriously, I can't travel anywhere these days. The survey season is starting up, and anyone who want to get income this season better be available first time the phone rings. If you can't leave for four weeks two days from now, the next person on the list can.
