VisualDSP++ problem

Started by Jacek February 19, 2004
Hi,

I have problem with VisualDSP++ 3.0 for SHARC. I tryed to install this
software under Windows XP Proff. but there is problem with driver. I had to
manually install driver for EZ-kit lite because after connecting USB port
board was not recognized. After installing driver there is message in Device
Menager that this device cannot be run. I didn't have those problem with
isntalling software with XP Home. What is solution of this problem?

regards
Jacek

We have this version installed on a Win XP Pro machine. Do you have other versions of VDSP including support for other DSPs? The various versions do not play well with each other and must be installed in a specific order. You may also need to santitize the registry. ADI has a written procedure for this that you can get from their tech support. Version 3.5 is out for several of the families and should be out soon for the Sharc. My understanding is that it works better with other versions. - Al Clark Danville Signal Processing, Inc. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Purveyors of Fine DSP Hardware and other Cool Stuff Available at http://www.danvillesignal.com
Thank's for your answer. I resolved my problem. Upgrading from home to prof
is not very ideal. I had to correct installation some drivers. Now all work
correctly.
