Which one, XDS510 class, possibly cheap emulator for 5502 DSP would you suggest? I nearly decided to buy Spectrum Digital XDS510PP Plus for 1300$. But after I downloaded the latest drivers from Spectrum Digital website, I realised, that there is no specific 5502 *.ccs file to be imported into Code Composer Studio. Can I still use this emulator for my design with 5502 processor? Their support didn't respond though they claim they will respond within 4 working hours. The other emulator I was considering is TDS510 USB2.0 emulator, the price I found on TI website is 950$, and on TI website 5502 is explicitly listed as supported processor (usually only family is listed, e.g. C55x or something similar). Can someone confirm it? Maybe any other suggestions? -- Robert Pudlik

However, I had to go back to CCS 2.21 because apparently it didn't work with CCS 3.1 on our PC. Furthermore, I had to download updated drivers from spectrum digital website, because with the ones included in the box, the USB enumeration phase never ended. Now the system seems stable enough.
