You just made me realize that I have as of this year spent an equal amount of time in Ohio as compared to where I grew up. Maybe Rick will appreciate the limerick I came up with when I moved to Columbus in order to keep my sanity: I live in Columbus, Ohio... but that is not my full bio... From a better place I came and I'll tell you its name... It's Michigan...Oh - My - Oh

I love it. I grew up in Ohio and there was always a fair bit of rivalry between Michigan and Ohio folks. We in Ohio used to say: Question: Why will no guy from Michigan marry a virgin? Answer: He figures that any girl who's not good enough for her brothers isn't good enough for him. Se Ya', [-Rick-]

The neighbors kids went to Ohio State, my brother went to U of M as my father had. When my brother ended up living in Michigan, three of his daughters went to Michigan State. To avoid it all, I went to school in California. One time when I was back visiting, a candidate for governor of Ohio was questioned by a reporter about whether he would support Columbus Ohio's bid for a professional league football team. He replied: "I can't promise that. If Columbus had a professional football team, Cleveland would want one, too." Dale B. Dalrymple
