Hi, I hope to pitch prediction gain between two pitch estimation algorithms. Does anyone here have a software to compute pitch prediction gain or show me how to calculate pitch prediction gain? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone here have a software to compute pitch > prediction gain or show me how to calculate pitch prediction gain?i've written at least 4 different pitch detection algs in my life for at least 3 different parties. i don't know everything about the subject, but most terms regarding pitch detection (or "pitch estimation" if that's what you want to call it) are something that i have read about and have an idea what the term means. but i have never heard of "pitch prediction gain". i just don't know what that is. and, although i have an idea of what pitch prediction might mean, i am not sure what the application is. most (or all) pitch detectors have a *delay* from when a note begins and the algorithm has enough data to confidently determine and report the pitch. decrease that delay (prediction?) will certainly increase error and the likelihood of bad pitch estimation decisions.> Thanks in advance!FWIW. r b-j
