It appears that Google groups is no longer updating..

So maybe you can still post?   but you can't read anything current.

This is on any newsgroup, not just comp.dsp.

             whatever questions, i pasted i am able to see replies to
them today only. till yesterday i used different pcs and internet at
different places at any point of time, i didnt see replies to my

I had noticed that there weren't any posts showing up in this news
group (via Google groups) for a couple of days. Other groups (also
through Google) seemed to be okay. I don't know if it was just a
couple of days of no posts or a google problem.

yeah, but if i answer this, and Google says that my "post was
successful", will it really appear?

the posts of Jun 25 have finally appeared 4 days later, but i do not
know how long this will take.  several of my other posts have just
disappeared (or never appeared in the first place).  so it might be
that Google is posting, but not fetching.  i dunno.

i tried to get thunderbird to work on my mac (can't get the client to
talk to the SMTP) and use eternal-september, but i will not use it
unless it really works (with the SMTP).
