Hi Tom, I'm not sure if I understand the exact meaning of your message, but you're right. Kids should be outside playing. I think the idea of DSP For Children may be for older kids (13-16 years) to give them something else to do besides sniffing glue/paint, or playing video games where the goal is to strangle prostitutes and murder policemen. wow, i didn't even make the connection. hi Stephan! there was lot'sa confusion 18 years ago when i hyphenated my last name. people don't expect men's names to change (unless you change it for some vanity/celebrity reason e.g. "Sting"). r b-j

Hi Robert, Humm ..., interesting. So what was your given (Christian) and family name when you were born? Just curious. [-Rick-]

i was born Robert D. Johnson and had that name until Sept 7 1985. there was a guy at one of the places i used to work who couldn't understand why anybody would change their name *from* Robert Johnson. he was (or is) a real blues freak. hadn't heard of many "Bristows" (lotsa "Bristols") until this new TV show called "Alias" came out last year. one thing that is handy is that i haven't met anyone else with that last name. before, i must have met 50 people named "Bob Johnson".

it's fine. i'm not too ashamed to be exposed as a "liberated husband". sometimes i wash dishes, too (but i usually use the "incompetent husband" ploy to get out of it). r b-j

It's a good ploy - I used "Well, it didn't have any flowers on it, so I thought it must be a weed..." Regards Ian ;-)
