Minimum phase FIR filter algorithm

Started by Frederic Le Bas September 16, 2003
Hello,

I am looking for algorithms to calculate a minimum phase FIR filter from a
desired frequency responce or from zero phase impulse response.

Thank you,
Frederic

This has been covered many times in this group. Google is your friend: http://groups.google.com/groups?as_q=minimum%20phase%20FIR&as_ugroup=comp.dsp&lr=&hl=en I also believe that there is an entry in the comp.dsp FAQ. Erik -- +-----------------------------------------------------------+ Erik de Castro Lopo nospam@mega-nerd.com (Yes it's valid) +-----------------------------------------------------------+ "Microsoft, and other companies with shoddy security, ....." -- Bruce Schneier, cryto-guru, to a US Senate committee.

I don't know about the FAQ, but I know there is something at http://www.dspguru.com/howto/tech/minph.htm -- Matthew Donadio (m.p.donadio@ieee.org)
Thank you all,

I have found the FAQ at http://www.bdti.com/faq/dsp_faq.htm

Since calculation methods are clearly explained, I presume that code should
exist.
