Hi We have many licences of Code Composer 4.1x and now the CCS 2 for TMS320 F240. When installing CCS2 and Spectrum digital drivers (F24x EVM with JTAG interface) on Microsoft W2000 pro systems, it lets only the administrator to use them. Normal Users (privilege) can not start CCS2. Can you help us and tell me how to install the CCS2 tool for users that have restricted privileges on the PC. Also the same pb for Microsoft NT4. thanks for your help !

From what I can tell, CC2 requires that the users have administrative privileges . From their installation literature: "For Windows NT and Windows 2000, you must install CCStudio IDE using administrator privileges. To run CCStudio IDE on these systems requires write permission on the registry......" Can you allow write permission to the registry without granting administrator privileges?
