Block based talkthru - sharc 21364

Started by Chris16 February 16, 2016
Hi everyone,

For an audio project I'm starting from the setup of block based talkthru.
Is there anyone who could give me more information how this program
works?
I'm connecting an audio input through the sharc and get the same output on
the jack. So the program is working/running perfect. Another problem is
where can I see my input/output variables? Can you display them in graph
or window output? I want to see them for manipulating the variables. After
all this I want to implement and FFT on the input sound. Is there anyone
who can help me with this problems?

Kind regards,
Kris

hey Kris, send me an email with your return address on in and i can send you a snippet that shows how to do block-based sample I/O in the SHArC that dovetails nicely with the DMA and uses a *single* DMA SPORT interrupt to service both the ADC and DAC, assuming their sample rates are the same and sampling from the same clock. it's much cleaner than the way ADI shows you how to do this.
