Hello! I am a student of the TGM a technical college in Vienna. I use the ADSP 21161N_ez_kite_lite board with a SHARC processor. I need help because I want to receive some signals (HIGH/LOW) from an external board which is connected to a port from the DSP. The signals will be used by the application. I have problems to address each bus-line from the port separate. I tried this by the external port 9 which I prefer, but with no success. An interrupt-routine should receive the signals. The timer and his interrupt are programmed successfully by me. I need this for my project which I need to get my graduation certificate from high school. Please help me! Regards Christian

Have you read the Hardware Reference Manual? http://www.analog.com/processors/epManualsDisplay/0,2795,,00.html?SectionWeblawId=433&ContentID=58316&Language=English Watch for word wrap in that link. The external port is covered in chapter 7. The flag pins are in chapter 13. -- Jim Thomas Principal Applications Engineer Bittware, Inc jthomas@bittware.com http://www.bittware.com (603) 226-0404 x536 Things could be a lot better around here, but worse is more likely - Calvin
