The reason you can't express your views any more clearly is that your
views aren't very clear.  No matter how you twist it, proving one
statement (that certain properties lead to fast algorithms) doesn't
imply the converse.  Anyway, I'm not going to try to debug your logic
any more; you are welcome to your conjectures.
