OT: AEC

I am working on a project and looking to license a commercial-grade software AEC. How much should I expect to pay to license a SW AEC and how much in royalty per unit. I expect that it will be used in 10000 units the first year.

I can't remember paying for AEC before, but that might be because I 
don't know what AEC is.  Care to share?
