In my native language there's no dedicated term for a "k-blade" -- it's 
just a "subspace". Linear algebra was extremely cool for me, because 
every mention of a "subspace" made me feel like it's some science 
fiction about hyperspace. But, I must recognize that "k-blades" would 
resonate among fantasy fans, too!

The terminology sounds exciting while at the same time is not too difficult. Also you don't need to call a clairvoyant to interpret the meaning of imaginary numbers.  They become concrete and intuitive things in such a system.
