| Three weeks ago, it seemed a miracle that Isabelle would live through
| the night. Two weeks ago, it seemed unlikely that she would be out of
| hospital before Thanksgiving. One week ago, we could be sure that she
| would recover fully with her faculties intact, and with good hope for
| her sweet disposition. She was still in intensive care but her digestive
| system was beginning to resume normal function. Yesterday afternoon, she
| was wheeled home in her stroller by her parents and Chan, who saved her.

Thank you for bringing a big smile to may face. She's a strong little
fighter.

My Dear Friend Jerry, I was tickled to read your post. Your post is testament to the human body's powerful "spirit" to survive.(With the help of caring, capable, people.) Your Isabelle is not just a little girl, ... she's your replacement Jerry. She's your replacement--when you're gone--in the chain of your family. She's a link in the chain that we hope is never broken. It would have been a crime against nature for your son to bury his daughter. It's young people who should bury older people, not the other way around. Please tell your son that people who do not know him extend their best wishes. "Hope springs eternal in the human breast." Jerry, Great news! Our best to y'all, Izzy, her parents and Chan. Our prayers weren't wasted it seems. As Rick said, please tell them there are many strangers who care and send best wishes. This of course bolstered by our knowing her caring grandfather! Fred
I am so glad to hear the news, Jerry. It's an amazing story, and the
relief from her family must be incredible. Please accept my best wishes
for her complete recovery.

Thanks for the sentiment It's been over a week now, with no cause for special concern.
