Selling a design

Started by Jake October 24, 2005
Are there any dsp companies that will buy a privately developed digital
filter design/algorithm?

Positive responses only please. And if all you can say is "it depends",
save it. Of course it always depends ... on what the performance is, on
what the demand is, etc. I'm just trying to find out which companies
are even interested in outside designs, whatever the nature of their
purchasing criteria. Thanks in advance.
It depends.

Dirk

I'm sorry I should have saved that. I should have said 'Not from you.'

Dirk

Positively.

This is not a technical question, its a marketing question. You have implied that you have the technical ability, you have also implied that you do not have marketing ability. I would suggest learning salesmanship. This is about your ability to sell your ideas to a company that _might_ but your idea. There are many patent companies that will help you "patent and sell" your ideas. I am sure you can guess the results this companies offer. Good luck, when you get someone to buy your idea, let us know. So we can sit in aw(sp) of your abilities. donald

Jake,

If you could get someone to sell you a personality, then you might have
a chance of selling your idea. If it is worth buying.

This from a troll who has to post three times to get his third-rate flame across. Buy yourself a mirror, Dick.
