The Miracle of new life!

Started by Jon Harris November 2, 2005
I am very pleased to announce the birth of my first son Owen Jonathan Harris.
He joins my 2-year old daughter Clara.
He was born Friday, October 28, 2005 at 9:05 AM. He weighted 5 pounds even and
was 18.5 inches long.
The doctor said he was, "Perfectly healthy, just miniature!"

Here are a few pictures:

Mom and baby are doing great and he is already growing quickly.

Congratulations, Jon!

What a sweet looking baby - and so much hair already. Wish you and the
family all the best!

Regards,
Andor

Yes Jon, congratulations. <toungue="in cheek"> However, since we have been discussing ID just recently on this group, maybe we should be shy away from words like "miracle" for which the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary has a definition of: 1 : an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs and replace it with "wonder" which disposes of the devine intervention. </tounge> Erik (father of a beautiful, charming, funny, cheeky, loving 2.5 year old daughter :-)). -- +-----------------------------------------------------------+ Erik de Castro Lopo +-----------------------------------------------------------+ "Data is not information, Information is not knowledge, Knowledge is not understanding, Understanding is not wisdom." -- Clifford Stoll
Erik,

Actually, I chose that word quite intentionally! :-)

P.S. I hope to get back to some of the threads on ID as time and energy allow.

Erik, Let him have his miracle. I may be an atheist, but I know I am blessed, and I am thankful even though I have no One to thank.
