Hi Rajgopal, last year I downloaded a room impulse response file from Angelo Farina's webpage at: http://pcangelo.eng.unipr.it/Public/IMP-RESP/ but that webite page doesn't seem to exist anymore. Angelo Farina's home page is: http://pcfarina.eng.unipr.it/ Good Luck, [-Rick-]

There are lots of impulse responses (from rooms, sampled equipment and synthethic) for download here: http://www.noisevault.com An alternative is to download Angelo Farina's software and measure your own. Regards, Andor

It's moved to http://pcfarina.eng.unipr.it/Public/IMP-RESP/ .

Thanks, I had seen Farina's webpage. Could not figure out the format?
What I need is Car echo path response of length 128 samples and Room
Impulse response of length up to 1600 samples for system identification
and AEC work.

Alas, Angelo is very good about putting up functions and information that are useful but very remiss about putting up information that would allow you to use it. Bob -- "Things should be described as simply as possible, but no simpler." A. Einstein

Well, you can always subscribe to the sursound list and talk to him (And others) about it! He is ~very~ forthcoming with information there. BTW, the impulse response files are plain WAVE files. Probably some are the newer WAVEFORMATEXTENSIBLE format. Richard Dobson

I have via private correspondence to no avail. I also offered to assist but received no response.

The problem is a lack of context for a lot of the data. It's just there without explanation of what it is or the conditions of its capture. Bob -- "Things should be described as simply as possible, but no simpler." A. Einstein
