eZdsp F2812 and PC

Started by pawl March 13, 2006
Hello,
I have an eZdsp F2812 Board connected with a PC through a parallel
port. On the DSP there is my program, which is running with a frequency
of 20kHz. I would like to send some data from the board to the PC, where
there will be a simple GUI to control the behavior of my program. Could
you tell me the easiest solution for this? How to write a routine which
sends the data from the DSP to the PC through the parallel port and how
to read the data back? And what should I do on the PC to read/write to DSP?

I have never tried to do such a communication.

Greetings,
pawl
There is a tutorial, I think it is called something like Volume, as in
volume control, that interfaces a PC to a DSP application using CCS.
It is at least included in newer versions of CCS. You may want to see
if you have it or something similar.
