TMS320F206 Software

Hi

I am a student, and I have an old TMS320F206 board with the software.
This was bought originally from White Mountain, though the software
site now redirects to TI. The board connects to the PC via serial port.


I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can get the latest
software for this board. The latest Code Composer doesn't seem to
support this board in any case. I tried using their software, but for
some reason, it didn't find the board on the COM port. I even changed
the port and tried, but no luck.

I think you have a case of a product being developed by a vendor that
is either no longer around or no longer supporting that product and the
current vendor is not supporting it either.

It is doubtfull that you will be able to download current tools that
will support this development kit.  Unless you have the original
software tools, your best bet is probably to obtain a more up to date
kit.
