sub-band synthesis filter

Hi,

Can anyone point out about sub-band synthesis filter used in DAB systems ?
I have the algorithm for sub-band analysis filter that is used in MPEG layer
II encoder.
But i am unable to understand how the reverse process is acheived with the
same parameters as that in encoder.

I'm not sure about DAB or MPEG, but Crochiere & Rabiner's  Multirate 
book has a good section on analysis/synthesis filters and polyphase 
implementation thereof.
