16-bit vs. 32-bit

I believe it applies to raw assembly as well as linear assembly along with
C code. You may want to double check with "-mv6400+" on raw assembly,
build, load and check the disassembly window for presense of _some_ 16 bit
instructions in it. I did some playing around some time back and I remember
that it was the case.

For some reason, TI has not published some of these info publicly. Never
the less check the following sections for some info:

Please check section 7.1.5 of spru198i.pdf,section 3.9 of spru732b.pdf and
section 2.2.2 of spru965a.pdf

Thats a total of 5 "some"s in less than 10 sentences. No wonder native
speakers think we are wierd! :-)

Is that last word supposed to be "weird", or "wired"?

Point well made.:-)

But pray, why should it not be wi_eerd? It sounds _more_ right with the
emphasis of "ee" on the second syllable! Oh,well, what do I know!

I don't know much about spelling rules (or phonics for that matter). A 
maxim of elementary-school teachers is "'I' before 'e' except after 'c', 
or when sounding like 'a', as in 'neighbor' and 'weigh'.

I reiterate: their weird deities are unscientific. :-)
