LMMSE equalizer

Started by Andrew2006 December 31, 2006
From some technical papers, I found out that non-adaptive MMSE block
equalizer has been used to equalize for time-varying channels. Since
adaptive algorithm (LMS, RLS,....) is not applied here, then how the
researchers simulate for the BER performance?

Can anyone please help?

Thanks.

For non-adaptive LMMSE equalizer, will the performance (both convergence
and MMSE) affected by the eigenvalue spread just like LMS algorithm?
Besides, how can non-adaptive MMSE block equalizer being used to equalisze
for time-varying channels?
